MAY LUNCHEON AT THE TAM O’SHANTER

Sunday May 19, 2019, At 12pm to 2:30pm

INSIDE THE ATF: The Federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

We may be familiar with the work of local police departments and even the FBI. But few know the daily doings of the ATF—the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives—a law enforcement agency in the United States’ Department of Justice that protects our communities from violent criminals, criminal organizations, the illegal use and trafficking of firearms, the illegal use and storage of explosives, acts of arson and bombings, acts of terrorism, and the illegal diversion of alcohol and tobacco products.

Here’s your chance to find out the ins and outs of these intrepid crime fighters, what they do and how they do it.

Our speaker is Carlos A. Canino, Special Agent in Charge of the Los Angeles Field Division, joined by Ginger Colbrun, Public Information Officer for the division.
